I bought one for my ONT and another for my Wifi Router, only annoyance is that the cables are short. Otherwise, have my devices running for 4 hours and not even dropping below 75% charge. Just wish they were still in stock

Awesome little UPS, I have 2 one runs my CCTV box and a network switch and the other runs a NUC and network switch and no issues during load shedding, use less than 25% capacity during 2 hours of load shedding.

Excellent product. The battery never falls below 75% in 2 hours while powering ONT and wireless router.

I have installed 36 of these Ratels with my team and they can power a router & fibre ONT for between 7 & 12 hours. That’s the good part.

The bad part is the supplied DC-DC split connector cable that goes from the Ratel to the router & fibre ONT. The cable is way too short – 12 of the 36 installs done needed either an extended cable (that you will have to make yourself) and / or they required DC adaptors to be able to connect the Ratel’s DC connector cable to the variety of devices with different sized DC connectors.

Highly recommend this product for CPE/ONT and router devices during load shedding or power outages. I disagree with Cliff Stiles that gave 1 star. You need to charge the Ratel before you use it. Great product

Have it running my CPE and Router and charge my devices while loadshedding.

The combined load of the router and ONT is around 28Wh, so the 3 hours 20 minutes is just shy by about 7Wh of what we would expect with this device; this could be due to the ambient temperature or other factors such as high traffic flow rate through the router. It must also be noted that the ONT is more power hungry than the router.

Bought thi on Monday afternoon. Expected an all day elecrticity outage on Wednesday public Holiday. UPS is plugged into Router and Wall connection for fibre.
I got 3 hours and 20 mins? It was fully charged.
Very disappointed also in the fact that the 2 power plugs form a V and are very close to each other…quite difficult to use at same time.
